Goldfish Credit Cards

In 1996, comedian Billy Connolly was used to help the launch the Goldfish brand. Goldfish said it would do something different -- giving people the facts clearly and without too much financial jargon.

In 2006, Goldfish became part of Discover Financial Services, one of the world’s leading credit card providers with more than 50 million customers worldwide.

Goldfish now issues credit cards under a number of brands -- including Morgan Stanley -- and has more than two million cardholders across its portfolio.

The Goldfish credit card doesn’t usually offer 0% periods, but instead low rates on lifetime balance transfers -- giving cardholders the chance to clear their debt completely, while paying a low APR.

Perhaps what Goldfish is most famous for is its reward scheme. For cardholders that wish to use the card for new spending, the Goldfish credit card offers the chance to earn points (one point for every £1 spent) that can be converted to vouchers to be spent in popular high street retailers such as John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, HMV, Boots, Next and Mothercare, to name but a few.

As well as credit cards, Goldfish also issues loans, insurance products and travel services.
